Target and Kroger Haul

Image
Dear blog, I went to Target to pick up diapers and I left with two bags filled with things that weren't diapers. How many of you can relate? I usually buy the diapers at Sam's, but this time we figured we would try Target. Sam's box brings around 210 for $40, Target brings 144 so 66 less. I love the Sam's brand because of the ;imited leaks and I don't have to buy diapers as often. Let's see how it goes with Target's Up and Up brand. I was needing new oven mitts and I loved this pattern, it's the Kitchen Textile Aqua by Room Essentials . It brought a smile to my face :).  My toddler needed new silverware and these are the one's he picked. They didn't have Mickey Mouse, so he went for PJ Mask , one of his favorite shows to watch at the moment (after Toodles aka Mickey Mouse Clubhouse). These are the perfect size for him so they are easy to handle when he is feeding himself :).That is a win for this mama. These two items were fou

Kohls and Pandora Disney Jewelry

Image
Dear blog, This year for Christmas I did some online shopping at Kohls for my Disney jewelry. I didn't realize that Kohls had a nice selection of Disney jewelry for a reasonable price. I bought mine during Christmas time where there were lots of coupons. I had a couple of coupons for their jewelry so I decided that it was now or never. They had what I was wanting! Always a plus! I wanted Mickey earrings and I found them at a very affordable price. If I remember correctly, I paid around $25 for mine. Now these are Disney's Mickey Mouse Crystal birthstone stud earrings, but I didn't care lol. When I got the earings I thought that I wouldn't be able to wear them for long because there are certain materials that make my ears hurt or give me pimples on my ear. I'm happy to report that I have been able to wear the earrings everyday pain and pimple free! That is a big deal because it doesn't happen often :). I recommend these if you are looking for Mickey earrings.

Products I'm loving

Dear blog, I like all things beauty, but I don't own a whole lot of it. I tend to keep it to the bare minimum; only the products I really can't live without. Some of these I've purchased more than once and that's how I know they are products I love. My first product is The One perfume by Dolce and Gabbana. I love the warm and long lasting scent of this perfume. I owned my first bottle several years ago and one day while I was spraying some on the bottle slipped from my hand and broke. That was a very sad moment because this had become my staple scent and I knew I couldn't afford another one any time soon. Thankfully I was able to get my hands on another bottle and I just love it. I feel so glamours every time I spray it on. I think it has to do with the fact that it's gold lol. This product is a staple in my beauty cabinet; dry shampoo!! I have oily hair, but I don't get to wash it every day (some of you may find that gross, but it works for me). An

Toddler Fun

Dear blog, now that my son is getting older and can ride attractions I'm determined to take him to children theme parks. Here are some of my top parks that I want to take him too. This pick will come as no surprise if you have ever read any of my previous posts,  Walt Disney World . He still hasn't visited Epcot , Animal Kingdom , Blizzard Beach , or  Typhoon Lagoon . We love going to Disney World; my children have had a blast every time we have taken them. Along with Disney World I'm going to include Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure . I have never been to Disney Land and I'm excited that the first time I do go will be with my children:). I think it's going to be interesting to see the original park; so much history. My son is going to love Disney California Adventure, he loves Cars and super heroes. I know it will be a hit for my toddler.  If you have been, what are your thoughts? My son is a train fanatic. He loves playing with his Thomas

Hemingway House of Key West

Dear blog, Over the holidays, my husband and I were fortunate enough to get over a week off to spend time with our kids and family. My husband, amazing as he is, drove us all the way down to Miami in one night by himself. He loves us so much. But on top of that, the first Saturday we were down there, everyone had things to do without us, so he drove the kids and I down to Key West. Now, this isn't an easy drive. It took over three hours to get there from Miami. The weather was perfect, and traffic was good, at least it was on the way down. One major thing we noticed about the drive was the levels of destruction and debris piled all along the highway. Hurricane Irma crossed right over the middle of the Keys. It seemed, once we passed Key Largo, both sides of the road held giant piles of garbage wherever people could fit one. The piles didn't seem to end until we reach Key West itself. It wasn't hard to find parking in between everything we wanted to do. Our first stop was t

The Polar Express Experience

Image
Dear blog, for Christmas break I actually went to Miami and visited family. I was glad to ditch the cold weather and welcome the warmth that the sunshine state provided. It's too cold up here!!! Anyway, while in Miami we acted like tourist. We drove down to Key West and even went to Bayside Marketplace in Downtown Miami. More on the Key West trip in another blog. For the last couple of years I've been wanting to take my son (the train fanatic) to The Polar Express Experience. To his surprise, we were able to take him this year. We did it at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum on Christmas Eve; it wasn't very cold but we still had a good time. This experience was so worth the money. It was more elaborate than the A Day with Thomas. I highly recommend the Polar Express Experience. My son and daughter had an absolute blast. The cast was great and so were the cookies and hot chocolate! I loved seeing the smile on my son's face; he didn't know what to do, he was beyond e
