Pitbull the rapper

Hello everyone
Im so happy you stopped by. I 'am really excited about writing this blog. On October 12, my husband and I went to out first concert together. We went to see my most favorite artist, Armando Perez, better known by his stage name Pitbull.
Have you heard of Pitbull? Well, he is a rapper born and raised in Miami FL, with Cuban heritage.
What I love most about him is his sense of style. He has developed a great style through his short career; he started looking like all the other rappers, but he soon changed his style to a more classy and sophisticated look. Now, all you will see him wearing is tailored suits and other sophisticated looks.
Another thing I enjoy about Pitbull is the heritage we share. I am also of Cuban heritage and was raised in Miami, FL. I love how one of his early nicknames was MR. 305. And I enjoy everytime he sings about our home town.
Living in Arkansas made it diffucult to find a place close by where his tour would be stopping. My husband and I drove nine hours from our home to Chicago IL, to attend the Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull concert. We loved every minute of it. It was so amazing to see my favorite performer live. The concert itself was good overall, but the crowd seemed more energized when he was performing. A small thing I noticed that just made me more impressed with Pitbull was that, despite his albums being filled with curse words, he didn't say a single curse word during his performance.The only downside to the weekend was not being able to actually meet Mr. Worldwide in person. But, I will continue to follow him and hope you do too.
I would strongly encourage you to look his videos up on youtube. My personal favorites are; The Anthem, Give Me Everything, and Rain Over Me.

Back to School

Dear blog, it is time to start a new semester. I'm getting so close to being done with my Master's degree. I have 5 classes left; God willing I will complete my Master's and graduate this August. I'm so pumped to finally be done and get a small break from school. Which is ironic because my degree is in teaching. It is time to buy text books and school supplies. Even though my classes are online, I still like to have a notebook to take notes as I read. Also, I love post it notes to write reminders of when assignments need to be turned in, pens, pencils, and highlighters. I'm all about making to-do lists, so I always have a piece of paper around that tells me what I need to be doing. This is a lap computer desk, I bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond it is not found online. I have had this desk for about 5 years now. Week 6 Weight Loss Journey

Dear blog, once again no change in my wight. I look slimmer, but no weight has come off. I have not gained or lost weight; my brother says it's because I don't have a clean diet and I think he is right. I have been working out really hard, but not made much improvement in the types of food I have been putting into my body. I'm really trying to make better choices, but those sweets get me all the time. Also, I feel hungry all the time, I don't understand. It has really been hard. For this coming week I'm going to try to stay away from sweets and of course continue to work out hard core. I feel like I should only document when there is actual weight loss happening.
