Michael Kors

Dear blog, lately I've been obsessed with Michael Kors. Recently I liked their page on Facebook and read about their lipstick line and I fell in love. I like Michael Kors because the products are so classy. I purchased these wedges and absolutely love them, they are so comfortable. I have been on the look out for some Michael Kors sandals or Tory Burch. I bought a pair of sandals from Tory Burch, but had to return them because they were $60 for just sandals. Also, it only had one logo on it. So I found these on sale at Dillards for $30. These sandals are very comfortable. This purse was given to me by a friend. I love this bag; it is very large. This is more of an everyday use purse. My husband bought this one for me. It is more of a fancy style. This is my Michael Kors wallet that I like so much, but I would like it in the tan pattern like the purse above. I purchased these MK earrings for my birthday. They look great. This is my phone cover fr...

Where'd You Go, Bernadette

Image
Dear blog, about two months ago I read the book Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple. I really enjoyed this book, but it left the ending very open to interpretation. I would like to think the best happened; that the family worked out their issues, but I just don't know. Never the less, the ending did make me mad not knowing for sure, I read the ending several times making sure I didn't over look anything important. I read the book in about two days. I couldn't put it down; I had to finish it. It's funny and it keeps you on your toes through the whole story. If you have not read this book I will tell you a bit about it. The story centers on a lady named Bernadette, her daughter Bee, and husband; they live in Seattle. It starts when Bee received her report card and she asked for a trip to Antarctica. At first everyone was excited, Bernadette talks to her helper from India to get her the tickets and plan the trip. Bernadette started to learn more about Antarc...

July Favorites

Dear blog, I'm so sorry that I'm a little late writing about my favorite books for May. For the month of May I read four books, who wouldn't? School is out and my reading list keeps getting longer. I read Emma by Jane Austin. I enjoyed the book, but it  dragged on for a while, it took some time to get to the point, but overall I loved the story. I'm a sucker for romantic novels. Following Emma I read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I also enjoyed this novel. It had my attention from the very beginning. The bad thing that happens to me and books that have movies made of them though, is that I try to compare the two and I always need to remind myself that they can't do it exactly the same (a perfect example is The Silver Lining Playbook) . Anyway, this book made me cry, it was such a great book. I would read it again. Jane Eyre is about a girl who has no parents and is left in the care of her aunt who does not like her, she sees her as a burden. Jane lives with h...
