Dear blog,  I had the opportunity to read The Bodyguard by Katherine Center. It's set for releasee July 19, 2022. I couldn't control my emotions as I read. There was so much laughing, but I also held my breath as the story captivated me. This was such a fun read that I could not put the book down. I read the entire thing in a day; well, I had to stay up past my bed time to finish it, but please don't tell my husband.  I was really invested in Hannah Brooks' life. She doesn't look like the type of person that could kill someone with a wine bottle opener, but looks can be deceiving. Her job is to provide protection to those who need it. The story starts with terrible events in Hannah's life from her mother's death to her boyfriend ending their relationship! Understandably, she wanted to get away from the world, but that is not the plan her boss Glenn has for her. He puts her in charge of the protection detail for the famous and irresistible actor, Jack Staplet
