Dear blog, It's that time of year when all of the summer scents come out. Summer scents are some of my favorites. I love the coconut and sunscreen smell, and Bath and Body Works knows that. Here are my picks for this season. My favorite scent is the Waikiki Beach Coconut. This collection has the summer scent I love. It makes me feel like I'm at the beach, Miami Beach to be exact lol. I chose Waikiki Beach Coconut body lotion  , Waikiki Beach Coconut Fragrance Mist , and Waikiki Beach Coconut Shower Gel . Also, I decided to try the Chamomile and Honey Shower Gel . Dear blog, My husband and I had the opportunity to see Maks, Val, and Peta's  Confidential Tour  on April 24th at the Orpheum in Memphis. This was our second show there and we absolutely loved it. We had better seats with a better view lol, that is always a plus :). I love going to the theater. I love the idea of being exposed to different cultures and seeing things in a different light.  If you don't know who Maks , Val , and Peta are, they are professional dancers from Dancing With The Stars on ABC. The Confidential Tour was a great show. I love the stories they told through their dancing. I loved watching them on the show. It was so neat getting a sneak peak into their lives. They showed parts of their wedding day (Val and Peta). For that hour and a half I felt like their friend. I cried and laughed as their story unfolded in front of us. They are great performers and very sweet. We didn't get to meet them backstage, but I felt like I learned a lot from their perf...

Dear blog, I had the opportunity to attend Disney On Ice : Reach for the Stars with my family. I was really excited because it was a different show from last year. If you are interested in watching our video from last year's show, click here . The show started with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. The show revolved around the stories of The Little Mermaid, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast and Frozen. All of the performances were spectacular. Loved seeing all of my favorite characters come to live and getting to sing my favorite songs. Loved seeing Belle in her yellow dress and dancing with the Beast, it was one of my favorite performances! I giggled when I saw Chip and Mrs. Potts, they were so stinking cute. My children love the concession stand and all of the toys!!! Let me just say, Disney comes out with the most adorable toys, but I'm sure you knew that already! Dear blog, I still have about two months of school remaining, but I'm already on vacation mode. Now all of my vacation ideas are really expensive and take months of  planning so I don't think I will be going anywhere this year :(. Since we became Disney Vacation Club members, one of the places I want to visit is Aulani: A Disney Resort & Spa  in Hawaii. Hawaii has always been on my bucket list of places to visit, but it wasn't until Disney opened their resort there that I have actually started to plan the trip. My original plan was to go next year for my tenth wedding anniversary. I felt this would be the perfect family vacation to celebrate the start of our family. The more we crunch the numbers I don't see it happening for our 10 year anniversary, but I still have hope!!! Now I do have to say I like going on vacation with my parents, siblings, and nephews. Dear blog, I love browsing the Disney Store online to new items. Don't get me wrong, I want to own everything already!!!! I've mentioned in past blogs that the birthday theme for my daughter is The Little Mermaid , I was stoked when I found that some of their new arrivals are mermaid related :). As I mentioned, I would love to own every item, but for the sake of this post, I chose my 5 top picks. My first pick is this Ariel "Mermaid" Spirit Jersey in sea green color and metallic ombre letters on the back and mermaid on the front. I don't own a jersey like this and I feel like this would be perfect for the birthday party. I love everything about it from the color to the design. Dear blog, I thought it would be interesting to write a blog about my son and daughter's pick from the Disney Store . Right now, they are on a Puppy Dog Pals kick and Legos for my son.  Netflix doesn't stream Puppy Dog Pals, so we are streaming it through our Hulu account. It's nice to have a Hulu Live  account because it will stream new episodes and live shows, which is a major plus! If you are a parent and your child watches Puppy Dog Pals then you can relate to horrible theme song getting stuck in your head. I catch myself singing the song while I'm at work. I'm pretty sure my students think I'm crazy lol. My son will be starting preschool soon, which is killing me on the inside. I can't believe that he is old enough to start preschool. Dear blog, Tarte released a beautiful makeup collection, mermaid themed!!! Who doesn't love mermaids?? I know I do! Here are some of the products that I'm absolutely drooling over. This is the Be a Mermaid & Make Waves Eyeshadow Palette  for $42. The packaging is absolutely perfect in every way. I love the colors, they are perfect for warm weather.
