Disney Aladdin Movie 2019

Image
Dear blog,
This weekend we went to see Disney’s Aladdin live action movie. I was really skeptical about going to watch this movie. I kept asking myself, "Will it be good? Will it be as good as the animated version? How is Will Smith going to top the original genie?" Robin Williams was legendary; he brought the Genie to life! Even with all my doubts and the mixed reviews online, I still went and let me tell you, I don’t regret it!

The movie was 2 hours long and yes I took my children to watch the movie. For the most part they did really well. As long as they had popcorn and skittles they are content. My youngest got a little antsy, but that was because it was nap time. Certain parts of the movie scared my youngest. She was very worried about Aladdin in the Cave of Wonders. Another scene I found a bit scary is the ending when Jafar becomes powerful then turns his bird turned into a giant killer bird. I’ve read reviews discussing Aladdin stealing and the kind of message that …

Aladdin Musical!

Image
Dear blog,
I've heard about the Aladdin Musical through friends who have visited New York City and they came back talking about how awesome it was. I was intrigued, so I started to look into the show in New York City. To my surprise, they had announced a national tour. I immediately looked for the tour dates and cities: I found the closest to us in St. Louis, MO (about three hours away). We had to wait a couple of months for the tickets to go on sale, but when the date came, I texted my husband and he was able to get them. We couldn't afford seats near the stage which is fine. We still got to enjoy the show (for the most part lol). We (my husband) spent a lot of time taking our son to the restroom. He lets me stay to enjoy the show, he is very sweet. He did the same for me when we saw The Little Mermaid musical when our daughter wouldn't stop crying. He took her to the lobby for nearly the entire show. Luckily this time the kids were far more interested in the show. The sho…

Disney's Riviera Resort

Image
Dear blog,
I'm so excited that this Fall Disney will be opening a new deluxe villa resort called Disney's Riviera Resort in the Epcot area. The design of this resort was influenced by Europe and the Mediterranean. It is said that the lobby is a mix of modern and classic 20th-Century furnishings with an art collection of Disney Characters and icons. The room selections are so important for us; when we travel to Disney, we are usually traveling with at least 12 family members and we like to stay close together!

I'm going to start with the new style, Tower Studios: this is designed for 1-2 guests. It includes a microwave, small refrigerator, drawers, and a hidden, pull-down, queen size, bed which can be tucked away and it leaves you with a lounge area. Another option is the Deluxe Studios it sleeps up to 5 people. The studio includes a queen size bed, a pull-down queen size, and pull-down bunk size bed. It also, includes a kitchen and a private patio or balcony. This sounds so…

Wreck it Ralph 2 Merchandise

Image
Dear blog,
When Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck it Ralph 2 released in theaters November 21, 2018. I was actually looking forward to the movie because of the princesses scene. It was my favorite scene, I just wish it was longer and the princesses had more of a role in the movie. I'm looking forward to it coming out on Blu Ray. We buy our Disney movies through the Disney Movie Club and I like to purchase a pin with my order. The pins are usually free with the purchase of the movie. If you are not a Disney Movie Club member you are missing out! Ok! back to Wreck it Ralph 2! I absolutely love the movie's merchandise at the Disney Store. I'm going to show you my top picks, but I would love all of it :).

My daughter and I are huge Moana fans! This will be a must for us. Her birthday theme for this year, is Moana. I think this would be a nice addition to the decorations. This is the Moana Rock Candy Vinyl Figure. As I'm writing this blog, my daughter keeps saying "Moan…

2019 Disney Bucket List

Dear blog,
We are two months into 2019 and I have a list of things I would like to do; Disney related of course!

1. Marvel Universe Live! This is a show that my son would enjoy, he is an Avengers fan! He asks everyday, several times a day, to watch the Avengers movies. For Christmas he got several Avengers pjs. He was so excited, he changed several times that day in order to wear all of them lol. This show includes Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, Hulk, Black Widow, and the Guardians of the Galaxy. They all unite in a race against time to defeat Loki in an epic quest to defend the universe from evil. I just know that my son will be over the moon to see his favorite super heroes in person. Oh, and my husband might like heroes too, I mean he is already planning his next Avengers movie release trip.

2. Disney on Ice- Dare to Dream! This is for my daughter and myself lol. This is the show I've been waiting to see, the Princesses on ice. My daughter is a Moan…

Disney Springs December 2018!

Image
Dear blog,
I finally got to see all of the Christmas Trees in Disney Springs. I kept seeing people on Instagram and Youtube taking pictures with these beautiful tress and I wanted to go see them as well. Luckily we had planned a weekend trip to Florida and I was able to convince my husband to stop at Disney Springs on our way home. Our first stop was World of Disney, the remodeling is finally over and the store is huge (I mean it was huge before, now its SUPER HUGE). It's very overwhelming. There is so much to see. I had a difficult time concentrating on what was in front of me. I went in looking for a Snow White mug and at the end I was holding everything expect the mug. They didn't have the mug I was looking for, very sad. Actually, I ended up putting everything back and leaving because I didn't want to spend the little time I had at Disney Springs in line for a few candies and trinkets.

Once we left World of Disney, we walked over to Amorette's Patisserie . It's…
