Disney Springs December 2018!

Image
Dear blog,
I finally got to see all of the Christmas Trees in Disney Springs. I kept seeing people on Instagram and Youtube taking pictures with these beautiful tress and I wanted to go see them as well. Luckily we had planned a weekend trip to Florida and I was able to convince my husband to stop at Disney Springs on our way home. Our first stop was World of Disney, the remodeling is finally over and the store is huge (I mean it was huge before, now its SUPER HUGE). It's very overwhelming. There is so much to see. I had a difficult time concentrating on what was in front of me. I went in looking for a Snow White mug and at the end I was holding everything expect the mug. They didn't have the mug I was looking for, very sad. Actually, I ended up putting everything back and leaving because I didn't want to spend the little time I had at Disney Springs in line for a few candies and trinkets.

Once we left World of Disney, we walked over to Amorette's Patisserie . It's…

Disney's Wilderness Lodge Christmas 2018

Dear blog,
This December, we made an unexpected trip down to Orlando. I was happy we did, it was an extremely quick trip. We were only in Orlando for less than 12 hours!!! And like my husband says I like to squeeze a lot in a short trip. We stopped in Orlando to visit some family and take in Disney Springs during Christmas time, especially the Christmas tree trail! During this trip I was able to scratch another Disney Resort off my bucket list. I haven't stayed in very many, but I'm hopping to stay in all of them. I was blessed that in 2018 I was able to stay in two different resorts, all thanks to Disney Vacation Club. I know I mentioned this in the past, but this has been one of the best decisions we have made. The first resort was this summer at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside, this was a beautiful resort and I got to stay in the most wonderful room. More about this resort here. The second resort was Disney's Wilderness Lodge Copper Creek Villas. This place w…

Disney Hollywood's Studios Toy Story Land 2018

Dear blog,
This happened this year!!!!!!!! Let me tell you, I was so excited when my husband got our tickets to the park. My son would look at magazines, see pictures of Toy Story Land and say, "I want to go there." All I could say was one day we will go. I didn't realize it would be that quick, but I'm glad it did.

We headed straight to Toy Story Land when we got to the park. We figured we would do the rest of the park after we had explored the new addition. My kids were so excited, when they saw the entrance, it was very challenging keeping them in their strollers. It really felt like we were toys in Andy's room. We absolutely loved the area, but it lacked a little something we would like for them to add, which is a shaded area. There is no shaded area other than a few umbrellas in Woody's Lunch Box.

There are three rides in the Toy Story Land area, Toy Story Mania, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Slinky Dog Dash(we didn't get to ride this one). There was a…

'Ohana

Dear blog,
A dream of mine is to stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort in one of the bungalows :). I didn't get to stay there this year, but I did get to visit the resort for the very first time. To be more specific we went to eat at 'Ohana, one of the restaurants in the resort. We wanted to have a character meal and this was the place that best fit our plans. We were not disappointed, we really enjoyed eating there. Now I'm even more determined to stay at the resort.

The food was absolutely delicious, it was family style. They brought the food out for everyone to share. It was fine with us, there was such a variety of food to choose from, it was unbelievable. They first brought out the pineapple-coconut breakfast bread, it was a little on the sweet side, but I liked it. The bread was followed by seasonal fruits. Lastly, they brought out scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, fried potatoes, and my favorite Mickey Mouse and Stitch waffles.
As we were eating Mickey, Lilo, …
