Disney Magic Kingdom Christmas Time

Image
Dear blog, just writing this post is bringing a smile to my face. I recently went on a Disney trip. It was a dream come true, I always wanted to visit Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom during Christmas time. It was certainly magical. I highly recommend everyone should visit Disney during this time of year, you wouldn't regret it. So far this trip has been one of the best for me, it was special that my husband and I got to share it with our son. Our daughter was sick so she couldn't come with us, but its okay, we have another trip in the works.  As soon as you enter the park, you see the beautiful decorations.  The first thing we did when we entered the park was get in line to meet Minnie Mouse. My son has an autograph book and we wanted Minnie to sign it. We actually had to buy a pen, my husband went to get it while I stayed in line. I love this picture, I think it's adorable I loved seeing my son so happy and running to meet Minnie Mouse. It makes every thin

It's All About the Boots!

Image
Dear blog, I love this time of year I get to wear one of my favorite types of shoes. Can you guess??? If you guessed boots, you are totally correct! Boots can be dressed up or dressed down, depending on the occasion. For example, for a more casual look I wear my boots with pants (jeans) for a more formal look I wear them with a dress or skirt. After giving birth my feet went up a size, so I do not fit into any of the shoes I have. This is a bad thing because I love to collect shoes. Now I have to start again or maybe it isn't such a bad thing. Well, since my old boots did not fit me, I was determined to buy a new pair this year and I found the cutest pair. One of my favorite purchases, very girly and chic. I got the Gianni Bini Truddie Slim Shaft Riding Boots in the color black at Dillards. I would like to own them in the other color as well. I love how these boots look, so girly. I love the bow detail on the back. Honestly that is what caught my eye at Dillards and I j

KirklandsChristmas Decor

Image
Dear blog, one of my favorite store to buy home decor from is Kirklands . I've been shopping there for the last two years. I especially love shopping there during Christmas time. I love the style of decor that Kirklands offers. Most of my large decor items come from Kirklands . I like that I accumulated points when I joined their free rewards program. If you accumulate 300 points you get a $10 rewards card.  Last year, after Christmas, I bought some things to use this year. Last year, I used these Snowman chair covers, this year I used them again plus the elf cover. I can't find  the ones I have online, but I found Santa Belt chair cover.  This year I bought 2 elf leg picks for my tree. I love how they look in my tree. It looks like someone is in the tree!! I couldn't find the ones I have, but I found similar ones  here . I also bought elf hat picks, similar here .  Last year I also bought two monogram ornaments, similar here .

Fuller House Season 2

Dear blog, my husband and I do not have cable or satellite; all we have is Netflix , which is okay by me. I don't have much time to watch tv. That is why I'm super excited that Fuller House season 2 will premier on Netflix this Friday!!! I'm a huge fan of the original show and I have enjoyed season 1 of Fuller House, so I'm hopping that I will like season 2. I laughed so much during the first season, I enjoyed seeing the cast together again. It brought back many of my childhood memories. I remember watching Full House's Christmas episodes every year. Those episodes always put me in the Christmas spirit. Full House and Fuller House are great family shows and so far it has been one of the few showa I have enjoyed from my childhood that has done a sequel. They did an amazing job! Fuller House was not a disappointment, I think it helped that they have such a good cast. I'm looking forward to watching the new season, I will let you know how I like it. I hope you

Disney World Magic Kingdom for Christmas

Image
Dear blog, one of my dreams is about to come true. In two weeks, my family and I are going to get in a car and drive down to Miami. FL, where I will see the rest of my family. I was able to rent a car thanks to my Discover  card. I love that I get cash back and they have great rewards. Thank you Discover . By the way this is not a sponsored post. Anyway, I'm super excited to see my family, I haven't seen them in a year. I was supposed to go down this summer, but I had complications with my pregnancy and I couldn't travel. Finally, everything is good now and I can go; most importantly they can meet my princess. Speaking of my princess, my princess is going to meet princesses. Yup, that is right, we are going to Disney World's Magic Kingdom . We are driving to Miami, spending some time with family, then driving to Orlando to go to Disney World and then drive back down to Miami in time for Christmas Eve. We will not be going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas part, b

November Favorites 2016

Dear blog, this month I bought some new items and I can't wait to share them with you. I've been visiting the mall pretty consistently lately trying to buy all of the Christmas gifts on everyone's list. As I was walking through Dillard's , by the Origins department, their set up for the Matcha Madness face mask caught my attention. So of course I had to stop. I didn't want to commit to buying the container because I wasn't sure if I would like it. Instead I asked the sales woman if I could have a sample. And to be honest, I absolutely love it!!! I will definitely buy the larger container, I like how it feels on the skin. It tightens the skin and leaves the skin feeling so soft. You need to try it!!! I love TJ. Maxx I always find really nice products, but there is one draw back. Whenever I go back to find the product again, they don't have it. That makes me very sad because I really like what I find. For example, this foot revival soak with oils i

Ulta: Breakfast at Tiffany's

Image
Dear blog, how many of you have watched the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's? Well if you haven't, you need to. Such a girly and chic film, where the little black dress became famous. During black Friday I stopped at Ulta to see if there were any good deals. The one product that caught my attention was the O.P.I Breakfast at Tiffany's display. The colors are absolutely beautiful. I bought the kit that brings the "I Believe in Manicures" cosmetic bag and two nail polishes. One of them is light blue, called "I Believe in Manicures" and the other one is black, called "Little Black Dress". The nail polish inspired me to show you products that remind me of the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's". The first item is my little black dress. A black dress is a must have and I think this one is very flattering. Kohl's has a very nice selection of little black dresses. Another item is my Kiel James Patrick pearl necklace; this is the B
