Back to School

Dear blog, it is time to start a new semester. I'm getting so close to being done with my Master's degree. I have 5 classes left; God willing I will complete my Master's and graduate this August. I'm so pumped to finally be done and get a small break from school. Which is ironic because my degree is in teaching. It is time to buy text books and school supplies. Even though my classes are online, I still like to have a notebook to take notes as I read. Also, I love post it notes to write reminders of when assignments need to be turned in, pens, pencils, and highlighters. I'm all about making to-do lists, so I always have a piece of paper around that tells me what I need to be doing. This is a lap computer desk, I bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond it is not found online. I have had this desk for about 5 years now. Week 4 Weight Loss Journey

Dear blog, Christmas came and ended way too quickly, but I'm proud of myself; I kept my meals  to mostly clean foods. I did miss eating my typical Christmas Eve and Christmas Day food; I usually eat pork, rice, beans, yuca, and so much more food. Typical Cuban food (which I love), but since I wasn't in Miami this was not an option :(. Anyway I did not workout this week at all which I regret, it was just so crazy and hectic between traveling and coming back home and getting readjusted to our home routine has been a bit harder now that we have a baby. The baby doesn't do too well in new places. Back to my journey, for the last two weeks I have been researching more about The Trim Healthy Mama way of eating and starting a healthy lifestyle. Nike Free Shoes

Dear blog, I have been needing new workout shoes since I have committed to this weight loss journey. So my wonderful and kind husband surprised me with these pink Nike shoes. I was so excited about my new pink shoes. I love pink!!!  I have never owned Nike shoes. These shoes are so comfortable, they make working out fun and not just because they are pink, haha. These shoes are absolutely the best, I feel like I'm waking on clouds. That is something I like about shoes; these have a padding that helps my feet stay comfortable. Also, they do not hurt the back of my Achilles tendon, usually my shoes hurt and I can't use them. I mean, who likes to workout in uncomfortable shoes?  My shoes are from  Finish Line ; they are Nike Free Running Shoes in vivid pink and metallic silver.
